Delightfully combining sushi and robata, TenTen is the modern Japanese restaurant you've been looking for. For those curious, robata is short for 'robatayaki' and simply means 'fireside cooking'. It can be compared to western barbecue as it uses hot charcoal to cook food for an extended period of time.

The amazing chefs at TenTen specialize in shareable dishes including fresh sashimi, sushi, grilled meats, and veggies. This spot is great for meeting up with friends or a casual dinner with the family. The bar boasts a full sake selection, a curated wine and beer list, and Japanese-inspired cocktails.

The architecture is modern yet warm with cozy booths and stone and wood fixtures throughout. Soft lighting enrobes the place giving a calmness to soften the high-energy vibe. The restaurant is on the first floor of the refurbished Miller Blueprint building at 501 W. 6th Street in the heart of downtown Austin.

They currently accept reservations and can be booked for private events. Check out their website for current 'To-Go' and 'Dine-In' hours:
